Research:
My research is interested in investigating the relationship between C. elegans intestine transcription factors ELT-2 and ELT-7. Our lab has identified that ELT-2 negatively regulates the elt-2 promoter. I am interested in answering the following two questions:
1) Is elt-2’s promoter activity and ELT-2 negative feedback loop consistent throughout development?
2) How does ELT-7 contribute to elt-2 promotor regulation?
